This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on the RaiaWeb website and Client Area, and how you can manage them. The associated processing of personal data is carried out under our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR and Law no. 41/2004 (the Portuguese ePrivacy law).

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone or tablet) when you visit a website, enabling it to work and to remember preferences. The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as localStorage - in this policy, "cookies" covers all such technologies.
2. Our approach: strictly necessary only
The RaiaWeb website uses exclusively cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and for the services you request - authentication in the Client Area, session management, shopping cart, security, and remembering display preferences you choose.
These cookies are exempt from consent under Article 5(2) of Law no. 41/2004, as they are indispensable to the service expressly requested by the user. For that reason, we do not request consent: we do not place any cookies subject to consent. The cookie notice shown on the website is purely informative and may be dismissed without any consequence.
We do not use statistics, marketing, advertising or third-party cookies.

4. What if this changes?
If we ever start using non-essential cookies (for example, usage statistics), we will do two things before any such cookie is placed: update this policy and present a consent request allowing you to accept or refuse each category with equal ease - browsing remaining possible without accepting.
