RaiaWeb provides hosting services and, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act - DSA), makes available a notice-and-action mechanism that allows any person or entity to notify the presence of allegedly illegal content hosted on our services.
How to submit a notice
Send your notice to privacy@raiaweb.pt, in Portuguese or English, including:
- A reasoned explanation of the reasons why you consider the content to be illegal;
- The exact electronic location of the content (full URL and, if necessary, additional information to identify it);
- Your name and email address - except in cases where the law waives identification, namely in notices relating to offences of child sexual abuse;
- A statement of good faith, confirming that the information provided is accurate and complete.
Notices containing these elements allow us to assess the situation quickly and on a well-founded basis.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt of the notice without undue delay;
- We assess the situation in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner, with human review - we do not use decisions based solely on automated processing;
- We inform you of the decision, together with the corresponding statement of reasons;
- Where a restriction is applied (removal, blocking or suspension), the affected client is likewise informed of the grounds, unless legally prevented, and may respond and challenge the decision through the ticketing system.
In cases of manifest illegality or serious risk - namely manifestly criminal content - RaiaWeb may act immediately, preserving the evidence and reporting the matter to the competent authorities in accordance with the law.
Notices that are manifestly unfounded or repeatedly submitted in bad faith may not be processed.
