RaiaWeb provides hosting services and, under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act - DSA), makes available a mechanism allowing any person or entity to notify the presence of allegedly illegal content hosted on our services.
How to report
Send your report to privacy@raiaweb.pt, in Portuguese or English, including:
- A sufficiently substantiated explanation of the reasons why you consider the content to be illegal;
- The exact electronic location of the content (full URL and, if necessary, additional information enabling its identification);
- Your name and email address - except in cases where the law dispenses with identification, in particular for reports concerning child sexual abuse offences;
- A statement of good faith, confirming that the information provided is accurate and complete.
Reports containing these elements allow us to assess the situation quickly and on an informed basis.
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt of the report without undue delay;
- We review the situation in a timely, diligent, objective and non-arbitrary manner, with human review - we do not use solely automated decisions;
- We communicate our decision to you, with the respective statement of reasons;
- Where a restriction is applied (removal, blocking or suspension), the affected client is also informed of the reasons, unless legally prevented, and may respond and contest through the ticket system.
In cases of manifest illegality or serious risk - in particular manifestly criminal content - RaiaWeb may act immediately, preserving evidence and reporting to the competent authorities as required by law.
Reports that are manifestly unfounded or repeatedly submitted in bad faith may not be processed.
